Last week, as Ma Burke was away galavanting around Hayling Island, I had to take my perfect pooch 'Sky' AKA 'Jelly Dog' to work with me for three days at Greenwich Market.
Day one he seemed keen as mustard, on guard and ready to serve.
Day two he remained tucked up asleep, in the suitcase under the stall, keeping a sleepy eye on the stock.
Day three he was back on form insisting that he should be more customer facing.
Absolutely loved bringing Sky to work. We both met lots of new book lovers. He licked them and got tummy rubs and I just signed the books. I suspect that's probably the best way round!
