Jo Burke (me) and Phillip Price (artist, illustrator & wonderful human) tied the knot on Saturday 20th October. Our ceremony took place at the magnificent Charlton House and our reception was held at award winning Little Nan's.

We had the most memorable day and evening, as you can see, we had a Halloween themed wedding. Or WEDDOWEEN as I called it. All our family and friends looked SPOOKTACULAR.
Speaking of which, just a few days later at Custard HQ in Greenwich Market, our amazing pooch Sky, AKA Jelly Dog from our first book 'Standing on Custard', won 'Best Doggie Fancy Dress' with his impressive Beetlejuice costume.

My husband (still sounds wonderfully weird to me) also won, for the second year running, 'Best Pumpkins'. Both awards are voted for by the public, so a huge thank you, to all the spooky ghouls and ghosts that supported us. It really was another incredible day of fancy dress, music, games and above all fun. If you are local put it in your diary for next year. It's usually the last Friday of the October half term.
